About us
The Barcelona Fountain Pen Association – Barcelona Pen Club was founded on March 25, 2023, by a group of fountain pen enthusiasts and anyone interested in all aspects of manual writing, who believed that the community needed an association of this kind in the Barcelona area. The purposes of the association are:
- The study and dissemination of the history of the fountain pen, promoting its use, knowledge, and collection among adults, youth, and children.
- Encouraging collaboration among users, collectors, and artisans who make and restore fountain pens and other manual writing instruments, as well as their accessories, and who wish to promote and share their use and knowledge by organizing activities in this field.
- Promoting collaboration with other entities that have the same interests and purposes.
To achieve its objectives, the association can carry out the following activities:
- Organizing periodic meetings, training courses, appraisals of fountain pens and writing instruments, publishing books, and organizing events such as conferences and fountain pen fairs.
- Organizing, conducting, and promoting any other activity related to the fountain pen and other writing instruments, as well as any complementary non-profit activity.
In any case, all profit-seeking activities are excluded.
